Howling Diablos
The Band:
The Howling Diablos is a Detroit based Rock/Blues band that has been jammin' since the 1990s and is loaded with talent. Lead singer Tino Gross provides supurb blues vocals and the rest of the band is stellar including legendary drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek (formerly of Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and The Rockets).
Concert Review:
I watched the Howling Diablos perform at the International BluesFest in Windsor, Ontario, Canada this past July and was blown away by their raw, and gritty blues. Their talent was especially evident on songs such as 'Green Bottle',
'Prison Train', and 'Car Wash'.
These guys were voted the Best Detroit Blues Band a couple of years ago and I think that they still deserve that title. In fact this is one of the best blues bands that I have seen in a long time.
Unfortunately, the videos that were recorded did not do the band justice This is one band that you must see live!
